It draws a large crowd of well-wishers and supporters too from the local community and wider and if you're in town as a tourist then do drop by and give the guys and girls a wave :-)ĭon't forget the list of famous Irish LGBTQ people is an impressive roll call: For those interested in including Dublin Pride on any such itinerary the advise would be to book your accommodation soon - whilst not as big as some of the others it's a popular parade with a lot of attendees from the UK as well as those resident in Ireland.

The Pride season has well and truly begun and so-called 'Pride Tourism' whereby members of the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) community along with family and friends visit several Pride festivals in different countries is increasingly popular - some friends of ours have just returned from a weekend in Zurich for their 'first Pride of the season' and are planning on Brighton and Manchester next.
